    oin the Ellis County Sheriff's Department and the Hays PD for the most illuminating event in Hays at the Flash Dash benefiting Special Olympics Kansas! Wear as much neon as possible- the brighter the better!- for a 5K run or 1 mile fun run or walk. Professional timing will be done by Heartland Timing Company for the 5K run and awards will be given to the fastest male and female in each age division.

  6. Encore Series presents "Intergalactic Nemesis" Live-Action Graphic Novel

    Inspired by "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "Star Wars," "The Intergalactic Nemesis" is a one-of-a-kind mash-up of radio drama and comic book adventure. Three actors voice dozens of characters, a Foley artist creates hundreds of sound effects, a keyboardist performs a score while more than 1,250 individual, full-color, hand-drawn, high-resolution comic book images are projected on an enormous screen.
